When 911 calls reported a murder, was SPD's 1st priority to have a Narc to check VICTIM for drugs?

And did the the Narcotics officer they sent do his job (that is, did he run a drug check on the victim's blood)? - - - (even as Sanford's "Police" Dept ignored Trayvon's cell phone and contact list, listed him as "John Doe" for 3 days, and never bothered to contact or interview Trayvon's girl friend who Trayvon's cell phone indicated he had been speaking with just before being murdered?}

Was Sanford PD's first priority to establish an alibi for the murderer?

Did Sanford's "Police" Dept have a second priority?

It does make you wonder why they seem to be trying so hard to protect Zimmerman. nt. polly7 Mar 2012 #2

I'll say again that they need to investigate the Sanford PD as much as Travon's murder(er).

the charge, which was dropped, would have been enough to revoke Zimmerman's CCW. makes me wonder if the SPD screwed the pooch on that, and are in full on CYA mode.
