I don't get it. But I do remember that in 2012, while Rasmussen had a small GOP bias, their polls were more balanced and less volatile than Gallup. At one point in mid-October Gallup had Romney up 7! Onl election eve Gallup had Romney up 1.

Never trust Rasmussen. Gallup is always off to the conservative side too. If you add the margin of error for Gallup you will be closer to something resembling reality.

(1,832 posts)Very similar to the whole domestic spying thing, some people are cool when our side does it, others find Assmussen reliable when it shows us news we like. Let's be honest President Obama is in the low 40's approval wise, and he still has an opportunity to fix that, but siding with the NSA and the anti-marijuana crowd are not likely to raise his numbers.

(24,135 posts)the first call I agreed because I thought it might be about POTUS. The questions were all about my ability to work and what kinds of meds I take...I am disabled from Polio which was not on their list of chronic illnesses Anyway, I got pretty disgusted and hung up in mid survey.
They called back every night for 3 nights and I wouldn't answer, on the 4th call I asked they not call again and to take me off their list.
