John Kerry Tells Indonesia: Big Trouble with AGW

And he admits that the US is to blame for a large part of the problem:

"Now, as I’ve already acknowledged, I am the first one to recognize the responsibility that the United States has, because we have contributed to this problem. We’re one of the number – we’re the number two emitter of greenhouse gas emissions. The number one is now China. The fact is that I recognize the responsibility that we have to erase the bad habits that we have, which we adopted, frankly, before we understood the consequences."

I wonder what the Indonesians felt when the spokesperson for the world's main co2 emission told them they are in deep shit? Was it something like "Thanks"?

Problem is, as we all know, the US has not cut back much at all on emissions. And we've pretty much promised we ain't gonna.

He goes to Indonesia and because of that you think Indonesia is going to make the US change? Or make China change?

Are you going to change?
