Are you in the double digits yet in NJ? (Don't get frisky - I'm talking about temperature.)

I spent the first 30 years of my life in Ohio & knew I'd do a major pratfall on the ice at least once per winter. Plus my shoulder muscles would spasm from hunching up while I walked to the bus stop. Plus putting bags of kitty litter & a shovel in my trunk when I drove. Plus having to go out early to start the car to let it warm up.

We lived at the end of a cul-de-sac & the snow would blow off the lake & pile up to 10 feet. We had to hire a snowplow to get out of our driveway.

Yuk. You have my sympathy.

storm. I was able to get in and start it, so I just said screw it. I hope the snow melts enough for me to move it.

"Hai" is the sound our doggie makes when she wants up on our laps.

My Mom and her husband left this morning and are in IL as her husband's brother is in intensive care. Kindly send thoughts their way...I lit a candle.

My youngest will be 19 tomorrow, gulp, and I got a late start into motherhood....damn I'm getting old...the last birthday of the Feb. birthday month!

How are all the lefties? I know what you mean about the old thing. Whenever I go grocery shopping the checkers as if I need help out to my car!

The lefties are fine considering where we live! My youngest won't be here for his birthday next year. He received a military waiver after months..he's in the pool to be a Marine. He's supposed to go to Parris Island in Sept.

Did a tour in Nam. Other than family, the Corps is still the most important thing in his life. He goes back to DC every Memorial Day to hang with fellow vets. Good luck to your son.

The girls are so much happier now that the coon hound and the ferral male are gone. I thought we were sending the hound to a permanent home, but maybe not so much, and I feel terrible about that.
