First hockey game I've watched this year and the team USA falls over. So close but so fucking far away with the baseball score.

I feel bad for Patrick Kane. He's the only one who seems to even have his heart in this game, and it's bad enough he keeps getting frustrated.

That's embarrassing. Up until yesterday I though the US would likely take the gold this year.

I only caught the last portion of the women's final, but both CAN and US teams played with a lot of passion. Very exciting hockey. But maybe to them, the Olympic gold is their Stanley cup.

We got outplayed and outprided.

One of my hockey buds was 1000% sure we would win the gold after the Czech game but I wasn't seeing it. Russia beat us fair and square, imo, and I'm one of those weirdos who is severely bugged by tainted victories. They tied that game and they were flying when that goal was disallowed; don't care about the letter of the law, a barely dislodged net had nothing to do with their go-ahead goal. This team had a very hard time taking a punch right from the get-go.
