(7,464 posts)All the glibertarians say if we just got the government out of regulating it and just let that "invisible hand" work as it's supposed to, things would be just PEACHY!
(besides, there's no monopolies, Americans don't pay anywhere near their share of what it costs plus maybe higher bills will get all the "takers" to stop mooching, get off their asses and get jobs)

they're just selling a product (and a cult), so it doesn't matter if it's found out to be false once this or that regulation's dead and buried for a decade or two--because it'll be far, far harder to reinstate than it was in the 30s
