And if you’re not fully convinced yet that Alaska is the next front in the GOP’s war on women, you just have to listen to State Rep. Alan Dick. He said in a House Health and Social Services Committee Hearing last week that he doesn’t believe that when a woman is pregnant, it’s really “her pregnancy.” As a matter of fact, he would advocate for criminalizing women who have an abortion without the permission via written signature from the man who impregnated her. He stated, “If I thought that the man’s signature was required… required, in order for a woman to have an abortion, I’d have a little more peace about it…” He didn’t say whether a rapist would be able to send his signature by fax from prison, or not. But he’ll have “peace” and women will require a permission slip for their own bodies.

I'm curious...should I start carrying waivers with me, that way if I get raped, I can get the rapist to sign it giving me permission to abort any baby he creates? or should I just wait, and then go find him when I find out? Which do you think is more prudent?

Also, when will you be attempting to pass a law requiring men get a notarized letter from their wife stating that yes, he has erectile issues and she gives him permission to get Viagra?



Why don't you try a bill that requires a man to acquire written consent from a woman, stating that she is willing to carry his child before he ejaculates in her. Failure to do so would constitute rape.



Hello Dick.

So I was wondering if you regularly get permission forms from your wife (assuming there is a woman who wants to be with you) whenever you want to relieve your bowels? You see, when she cooks your meal and feeds it to you, since it's her creation, you need to have her permission to remove it from your body.

If you currently do not have permission, then we shall need to get you some sort of anal plug until her signature is received. Once we have it, we'll need to do an investigation to ensure that it was your wife's food that you ate, and that it is indeed her signature. Once the investigation is complete, it will be up to our sole discretion whether or not you can defecate. If you choose to defecate without signed permission that has been verified and approved by us, we will have to criminally prosecute you.

Please note that a permission form will be required for each instance, and each instance will go through an independent investigation. Of course, we need to be thorough and make sure that you aren't unlawfully disposing of your wife's creations, or heaven forbid, the creations of someone else!

It's only fair Dick. You can't be making decisions about your bodily functions when other people are involved in the process. I am sure you understand, right?

Oh, and I forgot to mention that if you are approved for defecation, you will first need to have an anal probe which will be publicly broadcast for other defecators. You will also be shamed for being such a dirty defecator... common, that's just disgusting and immoral. Where do you get off being a smelly and revolting creature, Dick? Shame.

If you can handle that process and still want to defecate... fine. But once you're done and you wish to take medication that will control your obviously out of control bowels, you will have to prove to your employer that your bowels are out of control for medical reasons, and not because you are a pathetic excuse for a human being. Hope that's cool with you, Dick!



Can you suggest a law that requires each man who sleeps with any woman to sign a slip saying that if she ends up getting pregnant he will be financially responsible for half of all expenses, and morally responsible for raising the child at least half the time until the child is 18 years old? It seems you like to think the government should have control over women's bodies and decisions. Don't leave the men out!
