Gay people have spending money just like everyone else and the Chamber of Commerce knows it. Republicans are getting their new marching orders even if they find it hard to swallow. It will be fun watching them come to grips with it.

As was stated on the news earlier, no citizens were able to speak directly to Jan Brewer throughout the decision making process. But multiple business organizations were allowed to meet her in person earlier today.
She's a greedy Republican piece of garbage.

(6,719 posts)thing is hilarious!! AZ drove out some of their Hispanics and they certainly go shopping. Now the LGBT community goes shopping??!! The t-pubs are a lot of entertainment when they are not scaring me silly. Ya, the veto was not about people, it was about money.

Hell, in 1964, a certain William Rehnquist was intimidating minority voters in Tucson during the Presidential election.
My Labor Law teacher in law school made cracks about
"The Arizona Twins" which went over the heads of the other students because they were not politically aware.
The Arizona Twins were William Rehnquist and Sandra Day O'Connor, both Supreme Court justices at the time I was in law school.
