a cardiac arrhythmia (ventricular bigeminy/trigeminy) due to aspartame.

I can still recreate it any day of the week if I load up on those little blue packets. And I used it for 2 decades with no ill effects, so go figure.

(was drinking Crystal Light everyday for many years) and it looks like I made the right decision! I think it might have been a major culprit in my heartburn as well.

average, and developed a problem with it. This was on the heels of a major viral infection that it turns out is notorious for leading to heart transplants, so if all i got out of the deal was the need to avoid aspartame, I figure I got off light.
