Large Protests are occurring throughout the East and south Ukraine. But it is hardly covered and when it is framed in incomplete terms. This picture represents the activity and how serious it is. Events are not just in Crimea.
Flags represent where protesters have raised Russian Flags over government buildings
Why are these pictures as prominent in our media (like they were continuously from Kiev)?
What is happening in Ukraine is very complex and the press is not doing a good job of covering it.

They're not reporting on it because as usual, they were caught flatfooted. While most of us were watching a revolution done right, they were networking with each other. While we were reading background on how the extreme southwest of Ukraine is strongly fascist, the extreme east is just as strongly pro Russian and the people in the middle are caught in the middle, as usual, they were surfing celebrity sites.
No, I have very little respect for most of our fourth estate, the only ones worth a paycheck long having been driven out of major media and relegated to lefty magazines and the occasional spot on either MSNBC, PBS or Al Jazeera America. The rest of them are wearing golden handcuffs that attach them to corporate media and the last thing corporate media want is the type of news that makes Americans think.
I turned off TV news for the last time in 2004. The revolution will not be televised. It's on the net.
