Oscars 2014: Ellen's selfie beats Obama pic for most re-tweeted

The record for most re-tweeted tweet — held by President Obama’s “Four More Years” message on the night of his re-election, has been beaten.

At the Oscars, host Ellen DeGeneres grabbed a bunch of A-Listers for the “best selfie ever,” and tweeted the pic — which now has over 900K re-tweets, to Obama’s 778k. See both tweets below.

Personally, I've never twitted, don't think that I can if I want to - have a basic cell phone.

But, hey, as long as one watches the Oscars this was a nice diversion and it was nice to see all these stars participating, not taking themselves too seriously.

They also got pizzas...
