I get it... but as a native I have never heard that term used to describe a weather event! Hell, just this past few years we got "red flag" days for high fire danger! Never heard that one either!

Isn't it cool? After screwing up the environment for a couple of centuries we are going to see weather that's never been seen before. Are we lucky or what?

(17,045 posts)The verbage is strange, we do not normally have these issues. Red Flag days was really confusing for us, ofcourse we are in a drought that has been not seen since the 50's.

are some disaster.
