Victoria Jackson is troubled by Common Core

And has posted this shocking -- SHOCKING! -- picture on Facebook.

Incidentally, this is a great way to teach how to count back change (which I assume is what the unit this is from is on).

But that's silly and I agree, it seems to be a change counting thing, and even if it's not, there are uses to knowing different methods of calculation.

I'll check that out. I don't follow her, so I should only see what's publicly available. That said, the Facebook "sandbox" is a troubling technical thing...
