St.Lucia has now dropped any Visa requirements for Russians...

Ambassador of the Russian Federation His Excellency paid a courtesy call to the office of the St.Lucia Leader of the Opposition Dr. Gale Rigobert.

The purpose of the visit, according to the ambassador is to strengthen bilateral relations between the Russian Federation and Saint Lucia.


She says Russia and Saint Lucia have a long-standing cordial relationship that continues to thrive, however she believes courtesy calls like these are more than just symbolic.

He explains the Regatta scheduled for March 23rd to 28th will lure approximately 120 Russian millionaires to the island.

The Ministry of Tourism and the Saint Lucia Tourist Board have organised several business meetings with many of the guests to discuss investment opportunities. Minister for Tourism Lorne Theophilus says the Government’s plans to expand the yachting sector have come to fruition.
