Nine Greenpeace activists arrested in P&G protest identified

CINCINNATI -- Nine Greenpeace activists were arrested Tuesday and charged with burglary and vandalism after hanging from a zip line outside Procter & Gamble's twin towers.

The protesters, three women and six men, unfurled two 60-foot banners to call attention to what they claimed was P&G's link to tropical deforestation. One of the activists dressed in a tiger costume while hanging from the zip line.

The banners stated: “Head & Shoulders, Stop Putting Tiger Survival on the Line” and “Head & Shoulders, Wipes out Dandruff & Rainforests.”
