The scorn with which Issa has shown to Cummings is way beyond the pale. And I do mean scorn. To me it almost looked as if Issa was treating Cummings the way whites used to treat blacks 60 years ago.

He was treating Cummings that way because they get away with it time and again.

What comments are considered abhorant today was considered normal back then.....you were fair game if you weren't what I was never sure of why........Polish, Italians, Germans, Puerto Ricans, Jews, blacks etc. were all made fun of via jokes, derogatory comments and the like. It knew no boundaries......bottom line was if you weren't like us, you were inferior. I remember family gatherings where there was huge laughter at the slightest slight at anyone they didn't like.

Issa never has grown up.....a bigoted fool at the very minimum.

This is what they do. If you have behaved badly, demand an apology from the victim. If you are caught in a lie, demand an apology from the accuser. Etc. Etc. They always do this, and they are not going to stop. As long was we think they are going to do anything different, we are spinning our wheels.

Telling the truth?
That is a big offense in his world.

The arsonist should apologize to the congressman. That's what needs to happen.

His pompous-assed switching off of Congressman Cummings' mic had my blood boiling.

For making him look bad is also my guess, along with telling the truth.

So pissed!

Then I thought about how bad he looked switching off the mic. He was scared of what the congressman had to say. Poor Issa. He looked like he wanted to set Cummings car on fire.

...that what Issa really wanted to say when he reached over to switch off that microphone was, "Didn't you hear me say we are adjourned , boy?" You could see it in his sneer.
