(10,893 posts)that does the window-smashing had better be prepared to fight, though; people don't play about their cars.

(6,795 posts)Just asking....
And I'd be willing to fight. I've seen pets in cars in AZ in 100 degree weather. Yeah, I'd be willing to fight.

(15,435 posts)a law on the books that makes it illegal to leave unattended children and animals in vehicles. But, I think you're required to report any incident before "throwing bricks!"
I even had to admonish my husband when he left one of our chocolate labs in his truck when he went into Lowe's. It was cooler weather and all the windows were down enough for air to flow through, but NOT a good practice IMO! He told me I was over reacting, but I stuck my fingers in my ears and jabbered away.
I most certainly would be making lots & lots of loud noise if I ever see it.

the average car owner pays a ton of money to not only obtain a car, but to also keep it maintained. I'm not condoning anyone leaving their kids or pets in their car while it's hot, but what I am saying is for anybody who decides to bust the windows of someone else's car to be prepared for an ugly reaction. I would personally dial the local police if I saw someone's kid or pet locked in a hot car.

(4,185 posts)Please smash shards of glass at my children. Don't call the police, don't do anything, just decide for yourself and smash the window.
No, I don't condone leaving children in cars.
