What the republicans are doing all over the country with the assault on women's rights,

the assault on voters i.d., the assault on the social programs, the assault on unions and on and on, makes me think of that quote in the bush years where one of them said:

"The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." ... "That's not the way the world really works anymore," he continued. "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors…and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."

That's exactly what they are doing..creating as many as they can so focus on the fight against them is diffused by the number of fights there are to wage.

The Republicans' time is ending. They know it and they are doing whatever they can to remain relevant.

They are leaving the stage but not willingly.

IF you alreadynhave one, you can renew by mail for less. But they areclosing local Sites to "save money" which also makes it harder for people to get an id the first time, or register to vote....

Really - the damage they will leave behind is immense. They do not give two shits about who or what they stomp over as long as it pleases their lust for profit corporate masters who also don't give a fuck about us. It's all to please failed idealogies from an egomaniacal leader from 30 years ago.
