But if there was a high altitude shouldn't there be debris, or at least body malaise Mar 2014 #3

On a more serious answer, they are now going to use the sensors from the UN Nuclear Agency to see if there was a high altitude explosion.

but that debris (and body parts) would likely be really, really small and spread over a really, really large area.

the wider the field of debris but there should be something to see by now - shaking head.
I can't imagine what this means for those families - just the wait.

if they were shredded into really small parts...

I just hope it does not remain a mystery for ever.

There is also a claim of an internal Chinese group claiming responsibility and being quickly dismissed

The jury's still out on this theory.

As you know, the faster you go, the more your body shortens (assuming you are going head first, or feet first.) Also, the faster you go, the slower time passes-- for YOU. Therefore, if you go fast enough, you shorten to an infinitesimal spec and can go back in time.
So, that plane is really sittin' right in front of the gate from which it left. It's just that nobody can see it.

It is true, however, that the faster you go, your body will shorten in that direction.
And it is also true, that the faster you go, the slower time passes for you.
If there were twin brothers on earth, and one of them were able to travel into 'space' near the speed of light for some length of time, when he came back the brother who stayed on earth would have aged more than the brother who went on the trip.

Would I kid you about that?
