I'm so glad these bigots just can't keep their mouths shut...or their hands off their keyboards:

Arkansas Judge’s Shocking Racist, Sexist, Homophobic Comments

An Arkansas Circuit Court judge has withdrawn from the race for a seat on the state’s Court of Appeals and is under investigation for possible violations of the state’s Code of Judicial Conduct after making racist, sexist and homophobic comments on an online message board.

Mike Maggio admitted in a statement that he was responsible for the posts on the Louisiana State University fan site TigerDroppings.com. The comments, which date back to at least 2011, also accuse Arkansans of participating in incest and bestiality.

“I take full responsibility for the comments that have been attributed to me,” Maggio said. “I apologize deeply for my lapse in personal judgment and for that, I have no excuse. The comments posted were not acceptable. These comments are not a reflection of who I am.

“During my life, I have prided myself in treating all fairly and with respect, both personally and professionally. My friends, family and colleagues know me and can appropriately attest to how I have treated others. I stand by their opinion and regret letting them down. I ask for both yours and God’s forgiveness. My actions are not indicative or illustrative of the conservative political philosophy of which I hold dear.”

Maggio was exposed by political blogger Matt Campbell on his website, Blue Hog Report. In a lengthy exposé, Campbell described how he managed to identify Maggio—who went by the handle “geauxjudge”—and included 39 of Maggio’s offensive posts.

Some of the less explicit ones are below:

“Women look at 2 bulges on a man, one in the front of the pants or second one in the back pocket. Whichever one is bigger they can do without the other.”

“News flash she is black by injection,” re: a thread on the rumor that O.J. Simpson is Khloe Kardashian’s biological father.

“OT ballers just gamble like Arabs, drink like Indians, and do the humpty-hump like rabbits.”

“How many Doctors do you hear named Dr. Taneesha or HaHa? How many bankers do [you] hear named Brylee? So Stick with something close to normal. Or come sit in criminal court any day and see the “common names”

...snip...

One of the most heinous things he did was out Charlize Theron's adoption of a...GASP..."Black" baby. That a POS this clown is. He's only sorry he got caught, just like the rest of them. Congrats to Matt Campbell for exposing this piece of judicial crap.

Really. That's all he is. Childish, Ironic and Sad all at once. It's a direct reflection of what he thinks of the 'others.'

And he's a judge? why?

And living in the ass of the bible belt, he must understand: his god doesn't forgive, he destroys.
Remember the big flood? Job? You get no strikes.

His Old Testament god is mean, man. This guy just doesn't get it.

"Just because I repeatedly made the conscious effort to compose and post them, does not mean I agree with any of them" he didn't add.

that we see only after the vile comments are connected to someone.

And:

My actions are not indicative or illustrative of the conservative political philosophy of which I hold dear.”

His actions are exactly "illustrative of the conservative political philosophy" which he holds dear I used to think these people were outliers, but they are now a good chunk of the Republican party.

You're absolutely right! If conservatives had had their way from the late 1940s through the 1970s, we would still have Jim Crow today.

Every time a bigot is publicly exposed (especially one who stands to suffer a loss of some sort), he makes this sort of a claim. Well, I'm sick and tired of it! They're lying through their teeth, as far as I'm concerned. People speak out of that which fills their hearts.

Good to know just how awful, depressing though it is. I wager we'll be seeing a lot of complications stemming from cases that came before him, involving those he speaks so poorly of (anyone but white men apparently).

How did he ever get to be a judge? That's the biggest shocker of all here, imo.

“I take full responsibility for the comments that have been attributed to me,” Maggio said.

What a weaselly thing to say and in such a weaselly, weaselly way, with apologies to actual, furry, 4-legged weasels everywhere. He wasn't even man enough to admit writing it. Notice how he said "comments that have been attributed to me"? It's like he's trying to blame all this heinous crap on somebody that he allowed to use his account or something.

A true coward.
