Let's just say for a moment that Republicans win control of the Senate

Do you think that they would then pass a repeal of Obamacare through the House in early 2015? And then send it to the Senate where the Senate would then use the reconciliation process to pass a repeal with 51 votes.

For no other reason than to force Obama to veto it. Would they go through all of this just to pass a bill that would be vetoed?

Maybe then Obama could have a really ostentatious bill-vetoing ceremony in the Rose Garden.

might not want to remind voters the trouble they went through to kill it. If this were the height of the anti-Obamacare time it would be a no-brainer.

they're already starting to realize this. as more and more people enroll, it becomes more normal and popular, so repealing it suddenly pisses off constituents in a way it didn't before anyone was enrolled.

of course, they're certain to pass pointless bills knowing full well obama will veto them. and no doubt some of them will relate to the aca. but i suspect they'll be a bit less than outright repeal.

And after all the nonsense the Repukes have done during Obama's time in office, we are screwed. Russia might look more liberal than the US if that were to happen. If we drop the ball on women's rights, it's all over.
