we are and what we stand for.

But we need our leaders to act like Democrats or we look just like hypocrites. When I talk to progressive Independents about the Democratic Party, they throw things like the TPP and Banksters running free and fracking and global imperialism and the Keystone Pipeline and Afghanistan and the NSA, etc in my face. So before I can even get to the good things we do, I am already defeated because intelligent people would like to know why Democrats are doing all this bad republican kind of shit, and I can not and do not wish to justify these things that I consider to be extremely evil because i will not compromise my integrity for the team, and should not even have to consider it.

My point is, bragging up the Democratic Party only makes us look like hypocritical fools in the eyes of smart progressive Independents if our leaders keep condoning all these questionable practices.

And the fact is, these progressive independents would be Democrats if our leaders weren't condoning, supporting, and/or promoting all this nasty corporatist war and spying and earth killing Third Way economic bullshit.

I was beginning to think this thread was being boycotted!
