TAAFFE is George Zimmermans best supporter because...

Birds of a feather...

Frank Taaffe is a damn thief, was he doing the robberies in the neighborhood and then blaming it on black males?..... He was charged with Trespass and Theft in 2000 and was sentenced to 9 months..his house is currently in foreclosure, is he trying to make some quick bucks?

What I find interesting about Zimmerman and Taaffe:

The undated mugshot below is for one Frank Taaffe of Florida, arrested for violating an order of protection against domestic violence. Zimmerman has a similar record from 2005.

Taaffe seems to have a problem with minorities, as well. He is quoted as saying that the problems in the community started "when foreclosures forced owners to rent out to low-lifes and gangsters.”

“Just two weeks before this shooting," continues Taaffe, "George called me at my girlfriend’s house to say he saw some black guy doing surveillance at my house, because I had a left a window open. He thwarted a potential burglary of my house.”

The latest Census Bureau figures for the Twin Lakes community is 49 percent white, non-Hispanic, 23 percent Hispanic, 20 percent African-American and 5 percent Asian. Taaffe was noted as sounding chagrined when he said that the complex is now majority-minority.

It appears the "neighborhood watch captains", both past and present, just couldn't see a black male on the street without immediately thinking "looks like he’s up to no good". I'm sure his testimony as to Zimmerman's 'community standing' is sure to be quite a treat for the Grand Jury in April.

7. The homeowners association that encouraged these criminals may be legally liable.

The killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin by a neighborhood watchman in Sanford should be a cautionary tale for homeowners associations, experts say.

The circumstances — a volunteer watchman carrying a gun, and questions over whether he did enough to avoid shooting the unarmed teenager — could put the homeowners association where the incident took place in legal hot water.

And in many cases like this one, the residents don't know they could be liable until a tragedy occurs, when they find out that their homeowners association only carries insurance for directors and board officers, not volunteers who patrol streets or maintain common areas.

"There are ripple effects on everybody in a community," said Donna DiMaggio Berger, a managing partner with the statewide law firm of Katzman Garfinkel & Berger, which represents more than 2,000 homeowners associations. If volunteers take matters into their own hands, "the association is going to get sued."

Berger said if the association knew Zimmerman regularly carried a weapon while on volunteer patrol, that could provide Martin's family with further ammunition in a lawsuit.

18. Could Zimmerman sue too
Mon Mar 26, 2012, 09:32 PM

I would think Zimmerman could sue because they lead him to believe he was the Neighborhood Captain. If they gave him ANY reason to think he was security, he may be able to sue them too. He doesn't deserve anything, but some slime lawyer will probably try if there is evidence they lead him on in any way.

Recruit the well-meaning-if-not-a-tad-racist Zimmerman kid to scope out the neighborhood.

Then, damn, you have an innocent stiff on your hands.

No investigation. Don't tell the parents.

12. There's the infamous Chicago North Side police-burglary ring....

The exposure of an active North Side police-burglary ring in January 1960 set in motion of series of changes that would greatly affect the behavior and policies of the Chicago Police Department over the next several decades. The Summerdale scandal investigation, named for the police department’s 40th district at the time (currently the 20th district), was handled by state’s attorney Ben Adamowski after lifelong burglar Richard Morrison confessed to operating a lucrative burglary ring with eight Chicago police officers.

14. Police refused to investigate Zimmerman “approaching” and “coming to his(neighbors) home.”....
Sat Mar 24, 2012, 08:54 PM
Mar 2012

Zimmerman’s 911 call that day was his 46th call in the past 14 months to report “everything from alarms and disturbances to reckless driving” and especially, “suspicious” persons. As a self-appointed neighborhood watchman, he had been called “aggressive” in residents’ complaints to homeowner’s association and local police. During a meeting of the homeowner’s association, one man expressed his frustration on the lack of responses from the police, despite his complaints on Zimmerman “approaching” and “coming to his home.” Several complaints were also made on his tactics, yet neither the police department nor the board of the homeowner’s association said they had “heard about any complaints.”
