Obama's son
This comment needs repeating:
I take Obama's comment as saying to boys who look like Trayvon: "Geraldo Rivera may say you look like a threat. I say you look like a President's son." And whatever happens from here, him saying that right now seems worth it.

(27,454 posts)Lots of projecting going on with him. He takes issue with everything Obama says, no matter what. It's his ongoing and feeble attempt to be relevant.

President Obama promised a full investigation of the killing of Trayvon Martin Friday, saying, If I had a son hed look like Trayvon. Obama promises a probe. {Thanks to my good friends, Mi Robin and Suzette Sommer, for this lead.} with Earlene Williams Hancock and 6 others.

**BTW, this is the guy, Tracy Knauss, who did the Fox News Killed My Mother piece. I'd recommend checking him out on FaceBook -- He does some amazing stuff that's right in line w/DU. Wish he posted here daily!**
ETA: That pic is just eerie -- he SO looks like he could be part of the Obama family!

(15,064 posts)prevent the subject of racism from even being brought up. Just like the "politically correct" meme.
There is nothing wrong with being "politically correct". Being politically wrong can be deadly.
There is nothing wrong with "playing the race card" to point out racism. Ignoring racism can be deadly.
I prefer life and equality for me and everyone else.
