Primary Challenger Says South Carolina Is Tired Of 'Ambiguously Gay' Lindsey Graham

CAITLIN MACNEAL – MARCH 13, 2014, 4:56 PM EDT

A primary challenger to Lindsey Graham on Thursday called the Republican senator "ambiguously gay," according to The State.

"It's about time that South Carolina (says) hey, we're tired of the ambiguously gay senator from South Carolina," little-known candidate Dave Feliciano said during a press conference at the state house.

Feliciano, a police officer from Spartanburg, S.C. with no political experience, made an agreement with three other candidates challenging Graham to support each other if any of them make it to the runoff election.

"We're ready for a new leader to merge the Republican Party. We're done with this," he said. "This is what it's about, all of us coming together and saying, one way or the other, one of us is going to be on that ballot in November."

one of the reasons they're successful. I think most repubs know Lindsey Graham is gay. They just don't care since he's "Republican" enough in other areas. I think if he voted like a moderate they'd have booted him a while back.

Any weakness (gay is a weakness to them) is something to exploit in their desire to win at any cost.

Graham is an asshole, but attacking him based on his "perceived homosexuality" is just disgusting!

how is that information relevant in regards to being a Senator? Somebody should really ask these people this when it comes to fear-mongering not just about gays, but also about Muslims, Jews, Atheists, etc. I don't like LG, but this right here from his challenger is a cheap shot.
