Awkward: GOP womens PAC leader says women too busy to need equal pay laws

The leader of a recently-launched politically action committee aimed at female voters in Texas said this week that equal pay lays were not practical because women were extremely busy.
During a Sunday interview with WFAAs Inside Texas Politics, host Jason Whitely told RedState Women Executive Editor Cari Christman that Democrats had accused Republicans of hitting the panic button and launching the PAC in the final months before the 2014 elections after gubernatorial candidate Greg Abbott was criticized for campaigning with Ted Nugent.
Whitely also pointed out that Abbott had recently said that Texas did not need new laws to protect women against pay discrimination.
We believe that Texas women want and deserve equal pay, Christman admitted. But honestly, Jason, we dont believe the Lilly Ledbetter Act is whats going to solve that problem for women. We believe that women want real-world solutions to this problem, not more rhetoric.

Honey, there is no such thing as a Republican woman. There are Republican girls but once a girl becomes a woman, she becomes a Democrat.
This is the damn strangest story. Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott is running for Governor of the Great State of Texas. The only problem is that Abbott aint all that fond of hooter toters. He wants to stand between women and their doctors, women and their God, women and their marriage choices, and women and their right to work for less money than men.
As you might suspect, this aint going over real big with Texas women. However, Texas girls dont mind it much, so some of them are getting paid to form a PAC called Red State Women.
Greg Abbott did not support the Lilly Ledbetter Act for Texas. Do you wanna know why?...
Women do not want equal pay for equal work. Women are very busy so they want something practical, you know, like more jobs for less pay. Better we have two jobs that dont pay the same as a man than one job that does. Because were busy. And practical. Freedom. Busy. Errrr busy.
And this is the damn leader of the Red State Women PAC. The smartest one. She is being paid. Money. Not the same as a a man would be paid, of course, because shes busy.
Look, somebody grab a dipstick and check her estrogen level. I think shes about a quart low.
The GOP is worried about losing the single suburban female vote and so is trying to confuse the issue
