I used to use it on my home PC when I didn't have a star. It worked great for page embedded ads.

I'm on an iPad traveling now. Sure would like to get rid of all video adds. Especially on youtube as I subscribe to a lot of aviation channels.

I never receive video ads on MSNBC, Lifetime, VEVO and Youtube videos or watching something like "Days of Our Lives" from NBC.

I think that CBS may have determined how to work around the Ad blocker since I have to disable it for that site, but the Ad blocker does allow the user to turn it off or on on specific Websites. It certainly is worth downloading it and testing it on the various video contents that you view. I would guess that it probably cuts about 5-8 minutes of videos from hour-long TV programs.

I also don't see any ads or pop-ups on DU or most other Websites.

There are always some exceptions, but it does make the Internet experience much more enjoyable. I don't have an iPad so I can't comment on how well it works on that platform vs. a PC.

"please proceed" type of response. Maybe a wry smile and a simple "keep talking..." and at the end say something like "you've had your 5 minutes and I have the rest of my show, so goodbye and thanks for coming." Without his attempted rebuttals, she would run out of gas a lot faster and wihtout her planned zingers. She wouldn't be expecting him to just sit there with a smile, encouraging her to go on. It would upset her plans. She would be seen as getting more and more hysterical without any provocation. It would make matters worse, not better, for her in the end.

Obamacare and his arguments were shockingly simplistic and easily rebuttable. Because we were at a table at a breakfast and other people were there, I refrained from rebutting him. I simply smiled broadly and said 'single payer health care is coming to the U.S. Obamacare was the first real step in that direction..." and left it at that. He had a bit of a frowny face for the rest of the breakfast and I just kept my smile big! I didn't feel like I needed to add anything because I think he, too, was seeing the handwriting on the wall...

You have to put the Stefano nutjob's rant in the context of the segment as a whole. A lot of good facts got in. Chris was in total control. Haven't laughed so much since the last Palin interview.

So let this go viral. She looks like an idiot. (In that she represents her cohort well).

Agree witcha--trying to pretend these people don't exist is just as unrealistic as they are.

But I will say, I heard my wife yelling at the teevee so I went in to see what was going on and I caught the end of the segment. By the time I got there I got the impression that Hayes had given up trying to have a discussion and was simply laughing at her while she raved on, her face distorted by hate.

It seemed like she was just using some mad-on technique she learned in training. I'm sure they tell them that's how to handle liberals, beat them like a rented mule.

They're hoping for one of two results: 1) the mic gets turned off and they can make a big issue out of that, plus anytime faux shuts someone down they can point to it and say both sides do it, or 2) she owns him.

There were really no issues involved where he could derail her argument, it was pure force and domination.

I think uncontrollable laughter might be a good response, if the host can pull it off. Or overlay a funny duck-face on her as she spews anger.

Standard republican operating procedure. They have really dumbed down political discussion. No arguments to derail because republican ones are usually too shallow to really address an issue. I think Chris did realize at the end she wasn't having a political discussion with him.

Some will, but you have to be ready for the ones looking to create an "I went into the deepest den of Liberal Media and made them look like chumps" YouTube clip for their fans to hoot over.

Those ones don't want to talk to you, Chris, you're just a prop, a foil for their drama. Probably a good thing to be prepared for that and head it off when it happens.

First of all, he got a lot of excellent points in before she even came on. Really that was the meat of the show. Then he had the Jennifer Stefano Narcissist Shrewball on and she ranted for awhile, while Chris smirked and tried to get a dash of sanity in. And then he shut her off and followed with the White House spokesperson, who did a credible job of wrap-up.

"Americans for Prosperity" PAYS this woman to represent The Stupid. That's her job. "All In" got her on there to represent the stupid POV, which she did very well. She accused Chris of not having the facts and then she paraded lies--the usual strategy--which Chris ended up laughing at. We DO need to see the idiocy of what the Right represents.

NO WAY did Chris Hayes seem outdone, outdistanced, out gunned or whatever the charge here. He twisted her up in her own words pretty well. It was funny when he cut her off... thanking her profusely.

Really good show--check out the link above.

I understand being allergic to these types of people but we do need to have limited, controlled exposure. Otherwise you just live in a bubble like they do.

The liberal hosts bring them on to prove the hosts are "good sports" and to foster some semblance of debate & civil discussion, but it's as phony as Clinton scandal. Not because of the hosts, though. The Republicans purpose in going on these shows is to spout lies, bullshit & hyperbole. Republicans aren't interested in having a civil discussion. Republicans don't want a debate. Republicans only objective is to crush all opposing views & eliminate their competition. They're totalitarians. Giving them a forum to catapult their propaganda only makes it that much more difficult to get a real debate and a real civil discussion.
