Cuban Marketing Strategies Addressed in Forum

HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 26 (acn) The weaknesses and need to update marketing, brand management and companies positioning were exposed today in this city, in the First National Marketing Symposium organized by the Cuban Association of Social Communicators (ACCS by its Spanish acronym).
On the subject, Professor Ángel Ramón Hernández, one of the speakers, told ACN that the worldwide marketing has a rapid development, which is not in keeping with the national context, apart from some exceptions with accumulated experience.

Calviño noted that to establish new routes towards development, the mentality change based on not knowing or bad practices should be avoided.
He explained that today's changes are often considered as reproducing the same ills established in work culture, which leads to the same places and does not produce the desired changes and advances.
