(10,597 posts)... Why is he still the head of the education system in this country? Anyone who advocates privatization of our public school system is a cut-throat capitalist who doesn't give a damn about the education of America's children.

(14,350 posts)I refused to give to Obama's campaign or work on it, though I did vote for him. I have no problem with working and donating on a state level, but until the national Dems stop attacking public education, it's not happening.

It's truly a Democratic Party thing happening to education right now. They own it, and someday people will realize what it is like without a public education system.
