I never thought I would write an Obamacare success story

I have excellent insurance. My son, at age 31, is uninsured. He has three college degrees, passed the bar in late 2013 and is under employed. He has 2 part time jobs and makes more than most people but I worried about insurance. He checked on health insurance a couple of years ago and it cost $300 per month just to cover him. He didn't want to/have enough to pay that much.

He checked online a couple of weeks ago. He's not eligible for gov't help but got a policy for $140. He bought it. Nice to have him covered. I'm guessing its the exchanges which made it easy for him to compare policies and find one that he could afford whereas a few years ago he couldn't even do that.

Small steps.
