American "News" channels SUCK! All of them. Try BBCW (BBC World News)

My wife and I have been sick of what passes as news in this country.

My wife has fallen in love with the way they actually cover a wide range of news.

We are sick of Propaganda channel (FAUX)

We are tired of the ALL AIRLINE CHANNEL (CNN)

Even MSNBC is getting one sided.

Does anyone know there was an Earthquake near the coast of Panama?

You have to understand Spanish for Univision, but they cover things you won't see in American media.

Our choices seem to be the Benghazi Channel, the Chris Christie Channel and the Lost airplane channel. They are all cheap to operate and without competition, they all fail to deliver.

I wish Ted Turner would buy back CNN and rehabilitate it. We seem to be getting better, more up to date news from www.reddit.com/r/news/new

Also, I didn't hear of the Panama quake until you mentioned it (and it happened hours ago

And yes, American TV news sucks. A succinct and witty comment I saw on Twitter: "what I learned from watching US TV news: there is only one country in the world & it's completely insane"

on the Amanda Knox/Raffaele Sollecito trial, based on the work of a "journalist" firmly in the guilter camp, and when provable falsehoods were pointed out to them, the BBC refused to issue any correction. They were also criticized for leaving out a lot of evidence that was favorable to the two students. The BBC response: since the Court of Cassation decided to annul the "innocent" verdict in the appeals trial, then there was no reason for the BBC to include the evidence of that appeals trial in their documentary.

You're right, I hate American News, all anchors all act incredibly fake, they try to sympathize everything...the American News network annoyingly edits everything away from the public...they never show you the news as it happens "raw" the way it should be. Real life is not all cookies and cream, it's violent, it's scary and it happens. Keeping Americans away from the truth as it happens, is keeping people away from reality. So when sh** goes down Americans don't know what to do and freak out. UNIVISION and TELEMUNDO show you the news as it happens, there is no holding back, they tell you to take the kids out of the room or what you may see may be disturbing. The news in America should do the same not sugar coat things.
