A few billionaires are using our election process to rig the political process and replacing our citizen government with the rule of corporate empires, and Joe Scarborough (R-Dead Intern) can't see anything unAmerican in those activities?
Perhaps it's past time that we DO hold public hearings to examine exactly what the Kochs have been doing in this country. The 'news' media wants the Koch Brothers ad money so they won't confront them with any vigor.

(3,871 posts)I was going to use this quote attributed to Sinclair Lewis but upon investigation found that there is no historical provenance to Lewis.
"When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross."
It is fitting though.
Here are some other for Joe to ponder.
From It Can't Happen Here: "But he saw too that in America the struggle was befogged by the fact that the worst Fascists were they who disowned the word 'Fascism' and preached enslavement to Capitalism under the style of Constitutional and Traditional Native American Liberty."
From Gideon Planish: "I just wish people wouldn't quote Lincoln or the Bible, or hang out the flag or the cross, to cover up something that belongs more to the bank-book and the three golden balls."
