My instincts about the local radio wingnut and his callers are never wrong

So, I was in the car briefly, the only time I’ve monitored the wingnut carnival in the past few weeks, and they were doing their whatever about the soldier shooter at Fort Hood, and the caller seemed unusually “sensitive” for being one of their callers.

He went on and on about how the country has failed at providing care for military members. Fine. Then, that somebody with mental health issues should not be allowed to buy a gun. Fine. (Although the wingnut host made the laughable point that if mentally ill buyers were banned, gun sales would drop to nothing.) And he expanded into the territory about the numbers of the country’s population suffering from depression and anxiety and on medications. Fine.

Something was ringing suspicious to me. What was this dude’s game, I wondered.

So the wingnut host let him ramble on, then started the wind-up to get him off the air, upon which the caller sped up to his big finish: “And the blame for all this goes right to the top: OBAMA.”

Ahh. Luckily I arrived at my destination where there was a commode to barf in.
