Alex Wagner represented liberals with class on Bill Mahrer, Friday, against two

right wing hacks. She had her facts ready and could rebuff all of their nonsense talking points. Liberals in Congress who are afraid of their own shadow need to take a few lessons from Wagner about speaking up and defending what true democracy should be. Former representative Tom Davis and columnist Carrie Sheffield were the right wingers.

as usual the republicans were full of sh$t.

He lets them lie. There should be a fact check every week... to let cons know we are on to them. Shame them. Every week fact check last week.

Alex Wagner is a treasure

They both ignoredt the facts, the subject, and plowed on with nonsense regardless.

My anger lingers because we're in a new Gilded Age and nobody pointed out the insanity of this decision by the SCOTUS. Roberts and Co. just made sure it will get even worse. Thankfully Wagner's point about suppressing the vote is the crux of what their agenda is.

And all reasonable historians and economists say inequality is a diasaster for the nation. But there will never be a lack of paid shills like the two on with Bill Maher to carry the water for those who want it all.

Flip A District game.

One would think that Issa would be one of the prime candidates to be targeted for removal from the House, but Bill won't allow it. He prefers targeting back benchers over possibly removing one of the most-toxic Representatives ever.

is very rich, white and conservative. These people repeatedly elect a crass former car theif to grandstand in their name. It's a degenerate district.

Issa has very deep pockets and he's in a place where people vote for him because he has committee-seniority. He's also in a district that is friendly to him.

Don't you remember that he threw his personal fortune at tossing Gray Davis out, and cried like a child when Ahh-nuld ate his lunch?

It has nothing to do with Maher "allowing" it. You're not clear on the point behind the little game--it's to shift the ones that CAN be moved, not play a "Climb Every Mountain" tune.

Davis tosses in the word "deficit" just as they're moving to another subject, like the deficit is still the problem it was under bush. They never desert their talking points, no matter what the truth happens to be.
