anyone watch bill maher tonight?

he had paul watson on who talked about how the oceans are dying. he said the plastic is worse than oil -- it breaks into little particles and the fish eat it. talked about the water being warm and the fish are moving to colder waters. the ones that are surviving are the jellyfish. if this discussion wasn't a wakeup call i don't know what is.

if i were young, i would not bring children into the world the way it is now.

I don't think many people are even remotely aware of how bad things really are and how much worse it is getting. The environment is going to Hell in a hand basket made of non-recyclable material.

it was right after that water disaster in west virginia. she talked about the importance of water. said "look at las vegas -- they don't have their own water -- yet the hotels have these huge fountains wasting water. she said "water will be more important than oil."

Issues like fracking are making it worse as well, as it poisons water tables. Hell in a hand basket.

Shockingly, the early Nielsen figures indicate that Bill Maher had exactly no viewers.

It's way way worse than anyone could imagine. And the PTB think they have it all figured out. Geoengineering.

Love Capt. Paul Watson.

Be sure to watch Ann Curry's special on NBC Sunday night.

The problem starts with our addiction to bottled water and convenient packaging. All plastic products could be made bio-degradable and safe for our planet.
Our whole economy is based on the continuation of military dominance in order to keep the oil flowing. We are sacrificing our air and water for the plastic universe we are living in.
The Hippies had it right---The world is plastic-avoid it at all costs.
Recycle and carry your own bags.

I live in a fairly progressive, educated area & the number of people who still do not bring their own bags to the grocery store is amazing to me.

Heartbreaking photos, just heartbreaking.

I also read that if you see a photo of a pristine beach, it was probably groomed before the shooting.
