Terra! Terra! Terra! Or, someone's package of Chinese herbs. Either way.

The U.S. Postal Service determined that white powder discovered Tuesday morning at a downtown office is not harmful, and is some sort of herbal remedy from Taiwan that a father ordered for his child.
Originally, postal spokesman Augustine Ruiz said the remedy was Vietnam.
As of 11 a.m., everything was open and back to normal at the Saint James Park Post Office at 105 N. First Street in San Jose. That capped a three-hour evacuation and drama at the office, where an employee spotted a package of mysterious white powder about 8 a.m....
San Jose police went to the home address of the person on the Taiwanese-sent package and brought the man to the post office to confirm what was inside, Ruiz said. Along with the man's story, that he had ordered an herbal remedy for his child, and the hazmat team clearing the substance, the post office was deemed safe.
Apparently light rail trains can't run near Chinese herbs, 'cause they turned them back at the other end of downtown while I and dozens of others wandered the streets in vain looking for a replacement bus, which showed up 15 minutes later.

To be honest, I don't see the sense of allowing any public or private transportation. It could easily be used by evildoers.
