I've been opposed to the DP since I was a little kid, and I'll never understand why people support it. What does it actually accomplish, other than serving people's desire for blood and revenge?

Mass was always a no state murder state. NM executed one person since the 1960s and a few years later overturned the DP (and it's still the wild west here). There are still a few on death row whose fate is uncertain. My best hope is that Gov. Tejana Susana will surprise us all and commute their sentences to life without parole.
