Just a week ago I was hearing that the "sensible" Dems are running AWAY from Obamacare in the upcoming election. I felt at the time that this was very self serving of the Republicans, that they were in their own little bubble and that the ACA, along with the very strong pro-woman agenda of the Obama Administration and other Dems were going to keep the Senate, if not win the HOuse (because of gerrymandering). Now I see the rallying on our side coming to fruition.

As the saying goes, you can't beat something with nothing. And nothing (along with out and out idiocy) is all the Republicans have, that is obvious.

Now that Obamacare, despite its earlier disasters, is working stunningly well, the GOP continues to flounder in its messaging. All they had was the mantra "Obamacare is a disaster." That is now an embarrassment.

If they do, it should be a coordinated rally point nationwide.

NPR's opening news this morning was: "After calls from Republicans to resign, DHHS Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius is stepping down." They incorrectly implied a cause and effect. (That's like saying 'after impeachment calls from Republicans, President Obama will be stepping down effective Jan 2017.')

Dems need to get in front of this whole thing and steer the dialog better.

When have THESE Democrats ever stepped out in front of anything?

They're evidently so terrified of being run over by the republicans, they won't even go on any national news programs.

Perfect example.....Harry Reid finally steps out in front of the Koch brothers runaway train, and members of his own party try to run him down BEFORE the republicans can get there (see Senator Manchin, D-WV).

I wish, fervently, these Democrats currently holding office would get out in front of ANYthing.

...and I REALLY like having a Democratic Senator in Alaska.

Sure, he's not as liberal as my ideal candidate, but the fact that it's in Alaska of all places that we see a Democrat coming out fighting in favor of Obamacare... well, I, for one, am gonna stay tuned.

I just wish they would ALL show the courage and support he has in this instance.

Instead, we see candidates like Alex Sink in FL who ran on "changing ACA" instead of offering their full throated support.

Fundamentally, this is a story about a Democrat gaining traction by moving to the LEFT in a RED STATE.

Where are all those people with their knee-jerk insistence that any Democrat will lose in Alaska, no matter what? And that he'll sure as HELL lose if he's more than a hair to the left of Sarah Palin?

but it is telling how a thread with Sarah Palin in the title will garner so many more hits and responses than this one is.

Of course, the third way Democrats always think anyone even remotely LEFT will lose every election.

Instead, we get Alex Sink in FL who followed the Third Way Dems right off the cliff.

There are probably NOT a lot of holdouts, despite the Koch ads (which of course turned out to be totally bogus).

MOST Americans, including republicans, are being HELPED by the ACA, and better off than before.

And anyway, what choice do they have? It isn't like there's that wonderful shining health care plan of the republicans out there for them!

if you think about the amount of assistance they get per capita. Its good to see a Dem show some backbone, especially in a red state. That's a brave stance and I hope more red/purple state Dems follow suit.

Stand strong Dems. PPACA and jobs can win it for our side.
