A little backstory:
Jesse Winchester is an American musician and songwriter who was born and raised in Louisiana. To avoid the Vietnam War draft he moved to Canada in 1967, which is where and when he began his career as a solo artist.
A favorite of mine:
Fair winds and following seas be with you Jesse.
You can rest now.

Since I wasn't familiar with him as a singer/songwriter I bought his first CD. Beautiful. I'm sure he will be greatly missed.
