PLEASE someone tell me Baby Jesus has committed a crime! He encouraged criminals to fire on authorities! Guess that will just be glossed over.

What they don't want to understand is that "freedom" is a complex social construct.

If you are alone, you are free to do whatever you want.

If you enter a society, this totally changes:
- You provide society with something. (e.g. manpower, intellect)
- Society provides you with something. (e.g. security, access to resources)
That's the social contract.

Unconditional freedom becomes conditional freedom. You are only allowed to do what you want as long as it doesn't conflict with other people's desires to do what they want.

You are not free to violate the rules of a society, because that's a breach of contract.
(e.g. using public resources without reimbursing the public)

You are not free to violate other people's freedom, because that's a breach of contract.
(e.g. taking away other people's freedom because of your religious freedom)
