Bwah-ha-HAH, Ellen just made a brilliant joking mockery about Tweety!1

She set up the bit saying that psychologists at a college had just identified 18 new emotions, or really some that were just combinations of others, such as: Fearfully surprised, happily surprised, etc.

So then she said there had been examples of these on her show and showed clips, like a staffer being "painfully surprised" at getting a flu shot with a real needle, or "joyfully surprised" at a fan getting a new car from Ellen.

Then she said that she herself had been " 'disgustedly surprised' when Chris MATTHEWS did this to me:" So she showed Tweety making his entrance as a guest, with him lumberingly dancing towards her, while she joined in the dancing, then he grabbed her hand and swung her around then made her do a twirl, then finally pulled her totally toward him backward to his full frontal and bear hugged her with an assaultive choking from behind. I hope somebody here will help out by finding the clip.

Plus, Tweety had a totally pleased-with-himself expression while everybody was gasping at the clumsiness and inappropriateness of it.

So Ellen said she had been "disgustedly surprised," while Tweety was "JOYFULLY MISTAKEN"!1
