McConnell: Next Obamacare Chief Will Have 'Worst Experience' Of Her Life

Sahil Kapur – April 16, 2014, 2:12 PM EDT

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell told his constituents Tuesday he believes President Barack Obama's nominee to be the next health chief is "probably going to be confirmed," according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.

Speaking at the Central Kentucky Association of Health Underwriters, the Republican also said Sylvia Mathews Burwell is "probably going to have the worst experience of her adult life" leading the Department of Health and Human Services, which is in charge of implementing Obamacare.

McConnell said Burwell, who currently directs the White House Office of Management and Budget, is "a pretty capable person" and that his issue was with Obamacare, not her.

McConnell's aides, who confirmed the accuracy of his reported remarks, wouldn't say if he'll support Burwell's confirmation in the Senate. Democrats can confirm her with 50 votes, thanks to the November filibuster rules change.

Seriously, the ACA is the law of the land. It was enacted according to the Constitutional requirements of Congressional enactment, signature of the President and withstanding any constitutional challenge.

The next HHS Secretary will be charged with, among many, many other things, implementing the ACA.

Why does Mitch McConnell hate America and the Constitution? Why does he hate people that have never had or now have health insurance and who can live longer, healthier lives?

Why? Because his tiny unit is controlled by ideologically driven morons who hate anything this President does because he is (a) a Democrat but most importantly because he is (b) Black

It is that simple. I hope McConnell gets a case of piles that can never be relieved.

DU Censors, please don't take me to the woodshed with a jury because I hope this asshole get a case of the asshole troubles.
