"B.A.R.F."

POOR, POOR PITIFUL BILLIONAIRES — Yesterday was "tax day", and we could hear the discord coming from millions of Americans as they had to send in a portion of their hard earned wages to finance our federal government. But no rumblings were louder than those from the Upper Crust, the billionaires and multi-millionaires who begrudge giving even one penny of their money to sustain our nation's vital services. Of course the loudest resentment came from the Koch family who've made their money from dirty energy and who are now buying public officials and laundering their own money to fund efforts to subvert American democracy. The examples are too numerous to contain on one page. But the Kochtapus' tentacles permeate all sectors of our society. They contribute, for example to Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS, the very group that was refused tax exempt status by the IRS, as they damn well should have been. This correct decision by the IRS NOT to allow this Koch-dominated group to have the same tax exempt status as the Lions Club, the Rotary, Sertoma Clubs,etc. is responsible for Congressman Darrell Issa's absurd "investigation" into the IRS. So on this tax day it's especially difficult to empathize with the fortunes of the Koch family and their obsession with amassing even more wealth as they destroy our planet in the process. Charles Koch's recent op-ed in the Wall St. Journal is a prime example of how out of touch the bubble billionaires are when it comes to economic opportunity and social justice for all Americans. This American terrorist family is far worse than any external threat we've ever faced. The Koch family is indeed Public Enemy Number One. To them I dedicate this satirical piece "B.A.R.F."
