The Kochs’ new $3 million attack onslaught has pulled six Senate races into deadlocked ties -- and the Republicans must win exactly six seats to take Senate control.

But the Kochs could face a significant hit: Our Grassroots Victory Project will invest $60 million into voter targeting in 10 deadlocked battlegrounds -- and it’s projected to boost swing state Democrats by 1 to 4 points.

Nate Silver reports that to turn around his projection of a 51-49 Republican majority and win, Democrats must zero in on voters “that turn out strongly... in presidential years, but seem to fall asleep in off-year elections.” If we can fund this enormous turnout investment, it will give us the slight edge we need to tip the incredibly close Senate battle towards Democrats.

But if we fall short and can’t get 6,500 more Democrats to step up before Friday’s funding deadline, the Kochs will buy the Senate for the GOP.
