Millions of Americans now have health insurance who previously didn't have it, kids can stay on parents' insurance 'till 26, no lifetime limits (often a death sentence before), no denial for pre-existing conditions, insurance industry accountability, etc. etc. etc.
Maybe, just maybe, if we can get a majority in the House and gain a handful of seats in the Senate we can see the ACA strengthened (as in inching closer to single-payer / medicare for all).

(38,427 posts)Back in 2009, 2010 when the GOPers started with "death panel" echoed by corporate media wherein corporate media constantly showed and interviewed GOP politicians and teabaggers even tho majority of the time they were few in numbers, I said to myself that "death panels" would raise its ugly head this time - it would be on the GOP party.
The GOP are the original and sole = death panels.
