Fox "news" legal analysts say #BundyRanch doesn't have a leg to stand on

Lis Wiehl: "...they let the cattle go, gave them back to him, but he's still on the hook the government says and I believe they are right about this, the government's right about this, for one million dollars"

Kimberly Guilfoyle: "Their assertion is that it isn't federal land that it actually belongs to the respective states of Nevada and the border there between Utah and Arizona, he said listen, we've been grazing on this land for years and years, "My ancestors preceding me." However, the important point is it's in the constitution even in the state of Nevada that this land belongs to the federal government so they have a very strong stand."

Lis Wiehl: "That land was ceded from the state to the federal government before Bundy even had this ranch"

So has acknowledged the government before. And when he fights in courts, he uses the "Federal courts". You just can't acknowledge the government when it's convenient for you.

6. His defiance began when BLM reduced the number of cattle he could graze

I think his objection originally began because he didn't want to have to comply with the terms of the grazing permit, which specified the number of cattle and when they could graze. He seems to think he's entitled to graze his entire herd an public land year-round.

I'm quite certain that we've had a repub president since then. Besides, since he doesn't believe in the federal government why would he care who the president was?

This is all about his profits. Period.

11. this has nothing to do with who was president

He doesn't care who the president is... he doesn't believe in the federal government. He started having a problem when they passed the law that reduced the number of cattle he could have and where on the land they could graze because of the endangered tortoise and the need to allow the land to recoup itself. Again, this has always been about his personal bottom line.

It's what IS. If you actually knew anything about this guy and what his problem is concerning his cattle and the federal land for the past 20 years you'd know that.

Is there something you don't get about this guy not believing that the US actually exists and that state rights trump all? HE DOESN'T BELIEVE IN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. Cripes, how many times does it need to be said??? Since he doesn't believe in the federal government he doesn't CARE who the president is. He believes that ANY president is invalid. It has NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING to do with what party the current pres belongs to. This is ALL about MONEY - specifically HIS money.

Done with you. If you want to pull garbage out of your rear end instead of actually looking into what this idiot is all about and what his beef has been for the past couple of decades have at it by yourself.

2. Why does Bundy think he shouldn't pay and others should??? I have plenty of family

in the West who are ranchers and WHO PAY THEIR GRAZING FEES. They also are descended from pioneers.

What makes him so special that HE doesn't have to pay? Probably his church (I assume with his name and attitude that he's LDS) tells him he's SPESHUL.
