Excerpt from "Entitled to Know" BlogHealthcare Reform, Seniors and the Supreme Court
By NCPSSM | March 28, 2012
The Supreme Court is wrapping up three days of hearings on the Affordable Care Act today. Seniors with the National Committees Rally Corps joined other activists on the steps of the Court urging Justices to uphold the health care reform law.
The truth is the more seniors get the facts about healthcare reform the more they support it. But unfortunately all the partisan bickering surrounding the laws passage and continuing even now, two years later, has left too many Medicare beneficiaries unaware or misinformed about all the new benefits now available to them thanks to the ACA. Our Rally Corps members understand theyll end up paying more for their prescription drugs, preventative screenings and higher out-of-pocket costs if the ACA is dismantled so theyre glad to take their case in support of health care reform to the steps of the Supreme Court today. Max Richtman, NCPSSM President
It's so important we continue to get the word out about the benefits of the Affordable Care Act. Seniors continue to be sold a bill of goods by the GOP that the law cut their Medicare, which is false.

(169 posts)1. Glad to see that some folks know how to weed out FAUXNoose hysteria.
...and, hopefully, the Supreme Court is paying attention.

(3,203 posts)2. It would be nice if the supporters actually got any press coverage!
The tea partiers always get all the press even though they are a tiny percentage of the populace.

They helped bring in this worthless congress, probably too late.
