MAYFLOWER, AR (KAIT/AP) - At least one person was killed in a powerful storm that moved through Vilonia and Mayflower, Arkansas, according to Arkansas State Police. According to media reports, the fire chief in Vilonia said, "We have a mass casualty situation."

A tornado swept through rural areas west and north of Little Rock as part of a severe weather outbreak through the central United States.
