those gun fanciers who say they have abandoned the NRA should start another group from among the millions of supposedly fine, law-abiding, gun owners across our country. I doubt much would change, that "new" group would be promoting more guns in more places, stand your ground laws, etc. I think the NRA represents the majority of gun owners, particularly those into assault style weapons, toting, etc.

That's one of the problems with folks carrying guns in public.

When I mentioned the US Constitution, and how the February 2014 decision in the Mendocino Calif. courts states that the activists and others have the fully inherent right to treat strip malls like the Public Commons, he said, "Don't you talk about the Constitution to me, Lady. Step three: Listen to accusations of "Gun waving" and psychosis from rights-abolitionists with veins popping out of their foreheads. Snap fingers to the groovy beat of "Blood in the streets!" and other well worn favorites.

Step four: Enjoy responsible gun ownership and revel in the stress induced hemorrhoids of the one accusing you of pre-crimes.


I swear, it seems that most of the craziness involving guns is coming from the pro-control side these days. If I could find a way to load my guns with sour grapes and oblivious irony I'd shave my ammo budget down to nothing!

I live here a in Indy, and a perfectly good spring weekend was ruined by having to take measures to avoid 70,000 gun nuts all in one place. I'm just glad they're gone, and I hope they don't come back.
