Well, to be fair, rich white guys hate "the Mexicans" as much as they hate "the blacks" BlueStreak Apr 2014 #2

La Raza and all that. Meztizo is a central myth in Mexican culture.

i know there are many people who have tans in LA. but she could have lighter skin and she would still look black .

it's like he was worried people might start thinking she was "one of them" by putting pics and appearing in public with other black people.

as long as she stayed away from them in public he could claim she was a "delicate white girl or latina". because the fact that he is married isn't the problem. but it's that he would be seen with "one of them".

She brought it up three times I think, each time with what seemed like genuine incredulity. To paraphrase, she said "I don't understand why you don't want me to associate with any blacks. I am black. YOU are associating with a black woman."

And his response each time was (again paraphrasing) "Honey, that's crazy talk. You don't know what you are saying. You are a good white woman with a cute little Mexican accent."

It was absolutely bizarre, yet I haven't heard anybody in the media even mention that. The guy is out of his damned mind. The NBA should insist that he sell this franchise or else they will take it over.

but he knows she is black. but it's not something she should present herself as. instead she should claim to be something else.

he seemed to have a complete blind spot there.

Racism is all about fearing the unknown. In his mind, she couldn't be black because he knows her and she isn't scary to him.

I don't think this guy is just a creep. I think he is mentally not right.

And I see that I entered a couple of those poll options inaccurately. There is actually a 57 year age difference, so he is old enough to be her GREAT grandfather.

of different races all the time and being racist against that person's race at the same time.

history shows this. and there are examples like strom thurmond . and thurmond treated his black daughter pretty well in financial terms. making sure she had money for things she need .

his issue seemed to be how things are presented in public . he told her she can do what she wants in private but don't put out anything with blacks in public and act like you are a delicate white girl or latina.

He really doesn't think she is black. He has completely blocked that possibility from his mind. I'm sure a psychiatrist could explain that in more depth.

Why is the media not addressing that head on?

I guess it cuts to the heart of racially-motivated feelings that cut a with swath through "white America".

Is that he was being cuckolded. And since he hates black people, and the mythos of black male sexuality, it was doubly insulting. It was not that she was sleeping with these dudes but that she made a public deal of it.

Why does an 80 year old have a 30 year old girlfriend? To look good. She was humiliating him. And Magic and Matt Kemp have a sexual reputation as utter players.
